This morning end our first cruise and starts the Transatlantic portion. One bad thing today…we are changing cabins. We are moving from our oceanview cabin to a corner AFT balcony. This will mean we can’t get an early start for the search for Charlie’s mask but it does mean we will have a wonderful cabin for the crossing to Fort Lauderdale.
CHARLIE FOUND HIS MASK……..
I had found this mask maker on line. The name was Ca Macana and is located in the San Polo section of Venice. It was fun taking the vaperotto and going down back alleys to find this shop. It sure helps that Delia speaks Italian !!!!
We also stopped at the workshop where the masks are created and hand painted.
Of course, we had to sample some local vino…
Charlie found a unique way to carry his mask….check out the bag hanging around his neck…
That’s about all for today. The weather was not very nice today….overcast and chilly. Back to the ship to unpack our bags for the next 18 days….
