After another good breakfast, we were off to the port to board the Ruby Princess, our home away from home, for the next 30 days. This is our first time on the Ruby but we have been on the Crown, her sister ship.
Embarkation went VERY smoothly
and we were on board by 11:30AM and our cabin was ready!!!! That is a first…For the first part of the cruise we are in E416 which is an Obstructed Oceanview,,,,that really isn’t obstructed at all!! This is the view out of our “Obstructed view cabin”
With 11 ports in 12 days on this portion of the cruise, we didn’t think it was worth the cost of a balcony. For the second leg of the cruise, we move to C743….one of the coveted corner AFT balconies!!
Delia and I then went to find the Maitre d to check on our dinner sitting. We decided to stick with the 5:30 dining time….hope it works.
The muster drill was at 5PM…..as you can see, Rich and Delia were very interested.
After the muster drill, it was time for dinner. We had a table for 4 with large, NOISY tables all around us…needless to say, we have changed our table location…
Tomorrow is Monte Carlo. Start time is 7:15AM so it’s early to bed.
